A bikini line laser hair removal treatment typically covers up to three inches beyond the line, ensuring a flawless look in panties or a bikini. It often also addresses some areas that underwear covers, such as the sides of the labia and top of the pubic region, but this is up to the client.
How Does It Work?
Utilizing the Candella Gentle Max Pro laser, hair removal is a medical procedure that uses a laser, an intense pulsating beam of light, to remove unwanted hair. During laser hair removal, a laser beam passes through the skin to an individual hair follicle. The intense heat of the laser damages the hair follicle, which then inhibits any further hair growth.
Our clients notice a difference after just one treatment. Most clients need 7-10 treatments total.
Clients will need to shave 1-2 days prior to their treatment. Each area takes approximately 20 minutes.
Depending on the area, the number of treatments can range from 6-8 weeks (back and legs) or 4-6 (all other areas). The laser doesn't work on blonde or gray hair.
Who Is It Ideal For?
Laser hair removal is for all skin types 1-6. Patients with unwanted hair, irritating ingrown hairs, and those who spend a lot of time and money on waxing or shaving hair can usually benefit from laser hair removal. It used to be only available for those with dark hair, light skin, and no tan, but now laser hair removal can treat all skin types.
